the resurrection of Icarus: looking for highly ambitious people!

A socio-artistic project that's got something to do with a memorial for the Aegean’s nameless dead and the resurrection of Icarus...

Last year I traveled to Okinawa (Japan) with two of my fellow young adults with/after cancer friends. That's been a wonderful experience, so we would like to create a sequel.

We have set our mind on Ikaria. Just like Okinawa, Ikaria is considered to be a "blue zone".

As a group of young adults with/after cancer we want to raise awareness. Not only regarding health issues, but also to sensitize people on the importance of humanity.

Now.. it seems Ikaria is not only named after the wonderful Icarius myth, and considered to be a "blue zone" where people live long and healthy lives, but .. also a place where a lot of awful things are happening these days:

Together with other young people that wonder about the meaning of life .. we want to work towards an artistic project that's got something to do with a memorial for the Aegean’s nameless dead and the resurrection of Icarus.
