The Project about Integration of Refugees in Culture and Art Activities

1. Culture and art activities and courses
In this centre, there will be Theatre, Music, Handicrafts, and Calligraphy workshops and stages. In these workshops and stages, various cultural and art activities will be organised and through culture and art, prejudices will be overcome by including refugees and locals together. Again, in these art courses, it is going to be made refugees be included in cultural activities, and post-conflict rehabilitation will be achieved.
2. Screening of Cultural Artists
Within the scope of this centre, professionals in charge will develop a program to screen refugees in the area. After determining cultural artists, they will be leaded to the centres to make them visible. In addition to all these, by giving roles to those refugees and migrants in the centres it is planned for them to discover their talents and be integrated in cultural and art activities.
Project Objectives:
 Develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people in
particular in order to foster social cohesion in EU regions and
Neighbouring EU countries.
 Foster mutual understanding between young people in different
communities through inclusivity, constructive engagement and
networking, resulting into reduction in prejudices, stereo-tying, racism,
conflict situations among participants and
citizens of their respective communities.
''Engaging Youths in Active Citizenship' project will also encourage
responsive and responsible citizenship therefore creating awareness
about EU and neighbouring countries political and democratic processes;
political deadlock in some parts of Middle East region will be case studies.
 EU electoral processes; EU elections now and in the future will also be a
point of focus therefore creating awareness of participatory citizenship
and democracy at all levels, human rights and enfranchisement of people
with fewer opportunities.
