The Knights of Cultural Animation

Dear partners, I would like to invite you to cooperate with us in applied project "The Knights of Cultural Animation". The project is made within the Erasmus + youth exchanges by the Foundation Medieval Culture Animation Academy [AAKS]. Project will be executed in the period from April to September 2016.

The meeting will take place on 19 - 26 June 2016 in Gniew near Gdansk and 27-29 June 2016 in Gdansk. Arrival: 19 June 2016. Departure: 30 June 2016.

The project is focused on adult people who work with youths. We assume the participation of people from around 5-6 countries.

During the course, we will show how to write scenarios of historical events in context of working with youths; learn stimulation and development of youth interest in the history of the country, the creation of the living history lesson; medieval dance lessons; the basic principles of the use of Melee; creating international cooperation in area of medieval history; medieval handicraft and calligraphy workshops; new trends in the historical communication with youths. The meeting will take place in Gniew and in Gdańsk. We propose accommodation conditions in accordance with the project's theme which we can find in dormitorium in the Teutonic Castle in Gniew (4 beds rooms, bunk beds, mattresses in medieval style and shared bathrooms on the corridor).
