The ATU-SBGF Green Readiness Badge Certification Programme

DigiGreen Skills: Scaling AI & Blockchain for Green Workforce Verification

Project Summary
Addressing the synchronized challenge of the Twin Transition (Digital & Green), "DigiGreen Skills" creates a cutting-edge, digital-first capacity-building framework for technical educators and vocational instructors. Anchored by our official Green Jobs Readiness Certification Programme, the project designs a standardized virtual training curriculum for renewable energy systems—specifically focusing on Solar PV installations and smart-grid integration. By embedding advanced digital solutions into vocational training, the initiative ensures a transparent, verifiable, and highly scalable pipeline for youth transitioning into the formal green economy.
The Twin Transition & Digital Infrastructure
Our model operationalizes the European Union’s digital and green integration mandates through two advanced tech pillars:
Blockchain Micro-Credentials: To combat skill fraud and formalize informal expertise, the project integrates blockchain technology to issue secure, tamper-proof micro-credentials and "Green Readiness Badges". This allows local and international employers to instantly verify an artisan's competencies.
AI-Driven Virtual Curricula: We leverage AI-assisted tools to optimize training modules for educators, allowing them to deliver highly adaptive, virtual interactive technical lessons that bridge the infrastructure gaps faced by traditional TVET institutions.
Strategic Backing & Compliance Readiness
State-Level Endorsement: This framework is formally recognized by the Office of the President of Ghana as part of our designated mandate for national green workforce mapping.
Academic Governance: Anchored by a formal, active Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Accra Technical University (ATU), ensuring all digital badges align with National TVET Qualification Frameworks (NTVETQF).
Administrative Resilience: Managed by an executive leadership team with a proven track record alongside bodies like the World Bank, UNESCO-UNEVOC, and GIZ, guaranteeing absolute transparency and financial compliance under European funding frameworks.
Consortium Partnership Mapping: What We Are Looking For
We are seeking strategic international partners to anchor a comprehensive, multi-national proposal (such as Erasmus+ Forward-Looking Projects, Digital Europe, or private philanthropic innovation streams). Partners can plug in across three distinct operational pillars:
1. Core Funders & Donors
Tech-Focused Philanthropies & Donors: We seek international development donors and private foundations interested in funding the intersection of Web3, AI, and green economic empowerment to support our regional digital infrastructure rollout.
Corporate Tech & Energy Partners: We welcome engagement from global tech companies, blockchain ecosystems, or renewable energy corporations looking to direct Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or impact investments into certified green talent pipelines.
2. Technical Support & Innovation Partners
EdTech & Web3 Architects: We seek tech-forward partners specializing in decentralized identity (DID), smart contracts, and AI-driven educational software to collaborate on optimizing our blockchain badge infrastructure.
European TVET & Renewable Energy Experts: We invite vocational institutions and green energy hubs with experience in advanced Solar PV technologies to co-develop and enrich our digital trainer-of-trainers (ToT) curriculum.
3. Academic & Policy Anchors
International Higher Education Institutions (HEIs): We seek university partners to collaborate on policy advocacy for the global standardization of green micro-credentials, cross-border educational research, and digital skill validation frameworks.
