The art of the early childhood

We believe that volunteering projects in kindergartens, child-care centres, elementary schools could contribute to the local community in many positive ways.

Project idea is based on years of experience of hosting volunteers and providing the educational/leisure services in kindergartens, elementary schools in our city/region in Czech Republic.

We wish to meet the partners with similar experience and share the best practices, discuss issues and create tools to support the management of volunteering projects within early childhood institutions. Another aim is to create the core of the training programme for potential volunteers willing to pursue projects in future.

Giving young children the education and encouragement they need is an important part of making the world a better place.

There are many projects in kindergarten, school, special needs center, or care center for mothers and babies. Wherever volunteer goes, he/she will be part of a team working to make sure children with challenging circumstances have a better start in life.

Volunteering allows young person to connect to local community and make it a better place. More than that, volunteering strengthens ties to the community and broadens own support network, exposing to those around us with common interests or who work in related industries. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the staff and students.

This experience is a safe and sociable way to build own confidence and understanding of global issues while giving back to vulnerable communities.
