TERRA – Tradition, Herbs, Recovery and Regeneration Actions

Partner search for a Youth Exchange on traditional agro-ecological knowledge, sustainability and rural heritage, hosted in Southern Italy.

TERRA – Tradition, Herbs, Recovery and Regeneration Actions is a Youth Exchange project coordinated by Completa.Mente APS, a non-profit youth organisation based in Basilicata, Italy.

The project brings together young people from different European countries to explore traditional agro-ecological knowledge, such as the sustainable use of wild herbs and the maintenance of terraced landscapes, through non-formal education methods.

We are looking for partner organisations willing to send young participants to Italy.

Partner organisations will be responsible for participant selection, preparation and follow-up, and will actively contribute to the intercultural learning process.

The exchange aims to strengthen young people’s competences in sustainability, intercultural dialogue, teamwork, critical thinking and digital documentation, while promoting active European citizenship and youth engagement in rural and inner areas.

Date and duration of the exchange: 10 days (e.g. 15-24 July 2026),
8 full days of activities + 2 days of travel.

Total number of participants: 21 people.

Young participants: 18 (6 from Italy, 6 from the first partner country, 6 from the second), aged 20-30.

Group Leader/Team Leader: 3 (1 per organisation), over 25, no upper age limit.
