Teachers Helping Students with Dyslexia

The main aim of the project is to provide pre-primary and primary teachers with skills, innovative methodologies and tools to support pupils at risk of dyslexia and to help them overcome and accommodate their learning problems.

Also project will address the role of technology in supporting the individual with dyslexia, dyslexia related policy and legislation in the EU, means of support and advocacy for the dyslexic individual and "dyslexia friendly schools" it will create awareness, especially in terms of policy makers.

The main project objective will consist in adapting, testing, disseminating an education/training/decision process integrated system of transferable teaching materials for new skills on education of dyslexic students.
The main target groups target groups except the dyslexic students and teachers are VET organizations, public administration, universities, companies, stakeholders, NGOs, policy makers. The main foreseen outcomes of the project are a contemporary curriculum-hand book, with best practices from involved countries and e-Learning platform for self-evaluation, online credits, long distance learning for different users, Dyslexia interactive materials for dissemination and valorisation. The project also aims at promoting excellence in education to dyslexia VET, in connection with European/International research, education and training networks.
