International training combining body-based practices, art and nature connection to support youth workers’ well-being, creativity and ecological awareness.
This project is an international training course focused on the relationship between body, art and nature as resources for youth work. It offers youth workers and educators a practical learning space to explore embodied, arts-based and nature-based approaches within non-formal education.
The project is designed as an experiential process combining body awareness practices, creative expression, outdoor activities and collective reflection. Participants work directly with natural landscapes as learning environments, using movement, visual arts, storytelling and sensory exploration to deepen perception, presence and creativity.
The training responds to current challenges in youth work, such as stress, emotional overload, disconnection and lack of meaningful engagement, by providing tools that strengthen well-being, resilience and relational skills. Special attention is given to translating personal experience into concrete methods applicable in local youth work contexts.
Throughout the project, participants develop competences in facilitating body-centred and arts-based activities, designing inclusive learning processes and working responsibly in natural settings. Peer learning, group work and reflective practice are key elements of the methodology.
The project aims to support youth workers in renewing their practice, integrating creative and embodied approaches, and fostering deeper connections between young people, themselves and the environments they inhabit.
