TASTING EUROPE

"Tasting Europe" is going to be a Youth Exchange, to discover the cultural diversity of Europe through food, and how food is connect with the enviroment.

During 9 days we will learn about how to cook diferent European recipes, form each partner country and share with local people at different community centers.

We will learn basic skills about cooking and safety at cook, and specially how is connect the food production with enviromental protection.

For that we will visit ecological farms, and learn about concepts like, Km.0 food, ecological footprint or home compost making.

We will connect all that with the changes that we can already apreciate because of global warming, by visiting a research center in Tenerife.

Finnaly we will participate in a tradicional parade, in the city of La Laguna, to share the food that we learn how to cook.

We will host 30 participants from 5 countries, 4 participants and a leader per country. From 18 to 25, and with the posibility to include some from 26-30.

To participate you need to fullfill the application form, with aprox travel cost to Tenerife for 5 persons and send before 25 January to:

Selected participants will be contact after, and ask to send the agreement signed and stamped before 29th by mail.

There is no preparation cost budget for sending organizations, and there is an optional 30 euros fee per participant for some free time activities.
