The main purpose – each participant shares the essential tales, specific for the area he comes from. Comparing the similarities and differences, the significant patterns and humanity examples we are planning to establish together a bridge between the different cultures. The tails of the world that connect us for the only aim to be achieved– becoming better people and making the world a better community place.
The duration of the project is 9 days. The main activities will take place in The Village of Smilyan, located in the very heart of the Rhodopes Mountains, part of the popular tourist destinations around. One day in Plovdiv is planned to be as well. The project will be schedule in between the End of September, beginning of October.
Program: After first “ice breaking” day and the main thematic presentations, next 4 days are the days of the ethnic cultures! Each country’s group of representatives will introduce the traditional tales for their own area. The next couple of days are the days of the working mixed groups. Each one of the five groups will consists representatives of one the 4 countries. The groups have to complete some task that will help them process to a final Rhodopic story with foreign elements. The participant must get to know some of the old locals there, which will help them end up with an authentic Rhodopic theme for their own story ( the main task). The winners’ group has to make an original presentation of their fairy tale for the people for the Smolyan town.
On the last day a lecture will held in Plovdiv, a museum and festival visit are scheduled too. The fun part is a game - GET-TO-KNOW-PLOVDIV – one of the oldest towns in the world. That will make the participant run around the city for couple of hours to find certain spots and historical venues.
So, these is pretty much – the whole story briefly – everyday “get to know” activities in a spa hotel at the countryside; meeting locals with extraordinary tales they can share; mountain resort activities with young people from around the world; exploring Plovdiv as one of the oldest legends of the world; creative task in which you will be the novelist and …lots of fairy tales – in the morning, in the noon, in the evening,
