The purpose of this project is to widen the knowledge among young people, equipping them with right skills and competences to join the labor market.
We believe that in present-day it is extremely difficult to find employment especially for young people. Young people are not sufficiently prepared to join the labor market. At the same time due to lack of quality information and knowledge they are not able to identify opportunities exploiting their own skills, potential and strengths. Participants are primarily high school students but also other young unemployed. The purpose of this project is to widen the knowledge among young people, equipping them with right skills and competences for job creation. To increase their chances of success in the labor market, young people need to improve their skills, acquire their knowledge and gain self-confidence and motivation towards employment. Project would be preceded by conducting surveys to gain insight into the needs and problems of youth unemployment. The projects aims to improve competency of young people for the labor market, such as how to write your first CV and job application; how to create a video CV to invite attention of an employer; how to prepare for job interviews and simulate one to gain experience; to develop communication and management skills. Also, the project would be carried out in a way that participants gain knowledge and experience on entrepreneurship with a view to encourage young people in starting their own business by creating small or micro enterprise through self-employment. Objective of the project is to strengthen the professional, personal and social skills of young people in order to enhance employment and self-employment opportunities. In order to reach our goals the set of activities planned during the project are based on non-formal methods of education, learning-by-doing, simulations, role plays, creative workshops and using various exercises.
