The Partner-Finding Tool
This training course will bring together youth, youth workers and professionals to share best practice on how to tackle racism and violent radicalisation.
Short Description
This training course will bring together youth, youth workers and professionals to share best practice on how to tackle racism and violent radicalisation.

Looking for 3 partners (though this will depend on responses)
We have been running a paid training course on Tackling Racism and Radicalisation throughout 2017 and 2018. We are now in the process of writing an Erasmus KA1 bid as an informal group (we are quite big, you can see our team at www.thesociologicalmail.com) and would like to partner with other organisations who are involved in this same line of work.
This will be a 5 day Training Course, the partners will be expected to contribute some extent to the facilitation of the course, this could be in the form of icebreakers or workshops. We do not mind taking care of the logistics, as we have experience doing this work.
Objectives
- Develop participants competence to speak publicly on issues regarding racism and radicalisation
- Enhance intercultural awareness
- Develop an understanding of the radicalisation process
(not stating all objectives to maintain some anonymity)
The three trainings will take place in Bristol, in May 2019, November 2019, and February 2020. A report will then be launched in November 2020. As there are three training courses, participants can be found via salto youth, however, it may be beneficial for groups with some access to youth workers, NEETs, and Volunteers who would benefit from the lack of a participation fee to get in touch.
Please let us know what experience you have, and how you would hope to contribute to the programme. We can also elaborate on the training which we have developed and rolled out over the last few years.
We look forward to hearing from you, and wish you only the best in 2019!
