Project Title: Sustainable Future for Organic Production

Activity Location: Adana and Mersin, Turkey
Activity Dates: January 1–8, 2027 (8 days, excluding travel)
Working Language: English
Total Participants: 35 people (7 per country: 6 participants + 1 group leader)
Project Theme
This Youth Exchange focuses on organic agriculture, sustainable farming practices, and citrus fruit production. The project aims to increase awareness of organic farming, provide practical knowledge on organic citrus production, and promote youth entrepreneurship in agriculture.

Age: 16–29 years old for participants (no age limit for group leaders)
Profile: Young people interested in agriculture, environment, sustainable development, or organic farming
Language: Good command of English
Gender balance: 3 female + 3 male participants per country
Diversity: At least 1 participant with fewer opportunities per country
Activity Program
Preparation Phase: December 1, 2026 – January 1, 2027
Online meetings, local group meetings, research
Main Activity (January 1–8, 2027)
Day 1: Arrival and welcome
Day 2–3: Workshop in Mersin (presentations, discussions)
Day 4–5: Agriculture workshop in Adana (seminars, Q&A with farmers)
Day 6–8: Fieldwork in Adana and Mersin (hands-on experience with organic citrus farms)
Day 8: Evaluation, Youthpass ceremony, departure
Follow-up Phase
Online meetings every 3 months
Dissemination activities
6-month follow-up survey
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking 2–3 partner organizations from Programme Countries that:
Work with youth in agriculture, environment, or sustainable development
Have a valid OID number
Can select and prepare 7 participants (6 participants + 1 group leader)
Can commit to all project phases (preparation, activity, follow-up)
Partner Responsibilities
Before the Activity
Select participants
Organize local preparation meetings
Ensure insurance coverage
During the Activity
Group leader accompanies participants
Ensure active participation of the group
After the Activity
Organize at least one dissemination activity
Participate in follow-up meetings
