The aim of our project is to raise awareness among young people by explaining the concept of sustainable nutrition and its relationship with climate.
20. since the XVIII century, the world's population has been growing rapidly day by day. In parallel with the rapidly growing population, a serious climate crisis has been raised as a result of the increased use of fossil fuels creating a greenhouse effect and it will lead to a climate crisis. This crisis will cause major nutritional problems in the coming years.In fact, according to UN data,this crisis has been estimated that 2 billion people will not be able to access safe, nutritious and adequate food in a regular way in the coming years. One of the solutions to this essential problem is: sustainable nutrition.
Sustainable nutrition positively affects human health by reducing the negative impact on nature and at the same time increasing the quality of diet. From this point of view, sustainable nutrition is a critical focus globally. In the researches conducted, the awareness of generation Z is high against the developments experienced both in the global and in our country. The present and future of young people between 18-30 will work selflessly and social awareness about sustainable nutrition exhibiting efficient outcomes would be achieved within the scope of this project as we are confident that ETKİ Youth Association.
With this project, we aim to explain the concept and principles of sustainable nutrition to young people. In this direction, how we can adapt sustainable nutrition to our lives individually, raising awareness about this issue is also one of the goals of our project. As a source of motivation for young people to work in this field after the project, we want to achieve beneficial results for our world and humanity in this regard, which will be one of our biggest problems in the future.
