Sustainable development in non-formal education

The main aim:
Exchange of experience, knowledge and competences on sustainable development education. Introducing sustainable development to various educational programs and projects within the non-formal education.

Description:
The project is focused on building partnerships among organizations working in the area of sustainable development and educating in this field.
In the meeting the representatives of 5-6 organizations will discuss how sustainable development issues are covered in their countries’ educational programs, how they differ, what they miss. Further we will talk about the opportunities that the Erasmus+ programme offers within the strategic partnerships action.
The main part of the meeting will focus on creating a longer (1-2 year long) multilevel project – strategic partnership which will be applied to the Polish National Agency of Erasmus+ by the hosting organization. The main aim of the strategic partnership project will be to create a practical and effective educational program or tools for teaching about sustainable development and lifestyle for non-formal education.

Organization’s/ participant’s profile:
We are searching for organizations dealing with sustainable development and education. The participants should be adults with English language skills on a level allowing them to discuss complex topics. The participants should have knowledge on sustainable development and the condition of his/her country educational system in this field. At least one of the participants from each organization should have working experience in education (be a trainer, educator, teacher, etc.) The participants should be willing and ready to work on a complex project.
