Group EVS in Valencia (Spain) from 2nd to 16th June 2013 about Environment and Sustainable Development - hosting organization ZEN TEMPLE "LUZ SERENA"
1. Who are we?
The CBSZ (Soto Zen Buddhist Community) is a group of people with different origin that follows the teachings from the Buddha as it has been trasmitted in the Buddhist tradition Soto Zen. Link: www.sotozen.es

6 Volunteers from 5 different partner organizations. (30 volunteers in total)
Description of the Project:
This is a short term group EVS project that will take place in Requena (Valencia - SPAIN) from the 2nd to 16th of June 2013. The volunteers will live with other spanish volunteers in the temple Luz Serena and will develop a series of theoretical and practical workshops on organic agriculture, forest protection, bioconstruction and other activities organized by the group of volunteers to be decided during the project as such. These activities will be implemented in the Temple Luz Serena. The volunteers will also receive Spanish language lessons. The total number of hours of activity will be 36 hours aproximately (includes workshops & Spanish lessons)
6. Economic conditions:
General Economic Rules of YOUTH IN ACTION Programme applies here. The partners will get the certain % of the budget to be decided later we get from the Spanish National Agency (to be shared among them) in order to cover the Sending Organization Project Costs.
