Sur Youth Association empowers young people in rights, environment & culture, and seeks partners for Erasmus+ projects fostering inclusion & citizenship.
Sur Youth Association was founded in 2024 by students of Dicle University in Diyarbakır. Inspired by a strong cultural heritage and driven by a dynamic and innovative spirit, the association aims to support youth development and strengthen civil society through diverse projects in law, environment, climate change, arts, sports, health, technology, and science.
Our mission is to empower young people to become conscious and well-equipped individuals who actively contribute to society. We place special emphasis on human rights, women’s and children’s rights, the prevention of child labour, and social justice. Through Erasmus+ projects, we provide young people with opportunities for international experiences, intercultural dialogue, and personal growth.
We organise training, workshops, awareness campaigns, and mentoring activities that help youth develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Our association also focuses on ecology and sustainability, raising awareness on environmental protection, climate change, and animal rights. Moreover, we provide support to disadvantaged youth through scholarships and inclusion projects, enabling their active participation in education and social life.
Sur Youth Association brings together a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, educators, psychologists, health professionals, and students. This diversity enhances the effectiveness of our projects, offering youth opportunities to explore various fields while building self-confidence and resilience. By developing both national and international projects, we aim to broaden young people’s perspectives, promote empathy, and prepare them to become future leaders who contribute positively to their communities.
We are open to international partnerships under Erasmus+ and are especially interested in cooperation in the fields of youth empowerment, children’s rights, sustainability, and social innovation.
