Partner Search for an EU Project:
We are looking for international partners that are civil society organizations in the working related to employment of youth with disability in Europe. The program to be applied is “Supporting Civil Society Dialogue Between EU and Turkey” “Grant Scheme (CSD-VI).”

The Lead Applicant:
The applicant Anadolu Gençlik Federasyonu (AnaYouth) is a Ankara based Youth CSO federation operating since 2007 for the development and participation of youth at international level. It provides seminars, trainings, and mentorship for the development of youth with or without disability

Objectives of the call for Proposals:
The global objective is to develop a sustainable civil society dialogue between Turkey and EU Member states.

The specific objectives:

• to increase bilateral exchanges and cooperation between Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Turkey and the EU at local, regional and national levels, and

• to promote awareness raising initiatives on importance and benefits of membership of Turkey to the EU within Turkey and the EU, and on challenges and opportunities posed by Turkey’s accession.

The Aim of Our Project:
We want to develop a partnership for cooperation with European counterparts on increasing the employability of youth with disability (YDA). in the scope of EU acquis and policies. The major aim of the project will be preparing a research report for analysing the needs and challenges for youth with disability, developing training courses and providing mentorship and resources for youth employment as well as overcoming disinformation and prejudices against YDA.

We will establish a bilateral cooperation and learn from each other’s experiences.

The secondary aim of the project in line with the priorities of call for proposals will be Influencing the general public opinion within Turkey and EU on importance, positive effects and benefits of membership of Turkey to the EU.

Project Budget: The budget will be around 150,000 Euros.

The project Activities: Main activities will be study visits, workshops, seminars, preparation of a draft proposal, public relations activities.
