Youth Exchange helping young people build resilience, manage stress, strengthen wellbeing and develop healthy coping skills together.
Type: Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange
Topic: Mental Wellbeing, Emotional Resilience and Healthy Coping
Target Group: Young people aged 18–27
Duration: 8 activity days
Participants: 30
Young people increasingly face academic pressure, employment uncertainty, financial stress, social expectations, constant digital stimulation and rapid changes in their personal and professional lives. Many experience difficulties managing stress, maintaining emotional balance and responding constructively to setbacks. At the same time, conversations around mental wellbeing often remain uncomfortable or superficial, leaving young people without enough practical tools for dealing with challenging situations.
Stronger Within - Building Resilience Together is a Youth Exchange designed to help young people better understand resilience, recognise their personal strengths and develop healthier ways of responding to stress, uncertainty and everyday challenges. The project will create a supportive international learning environment where participants explore emotional wellbeing through non-formal education, peer learning, creative activities, movement, reflection and teamwork.
The programme will focus on practical resilience rather than clinical mental health treatment. Participants will explore how thoughts, emotions, habits, relationships and lifestyle choices influence their ability to deal with difficulties. They will also examine the importance of social support, communication, boundaries, self-awareness and community connection.
