In the context for the process of integration into the European Union ,a significant progress has been recorded since 1999 for statistical data produced in our country. Turkish Statistical Institute is the only institution in our country preparing public data. Although interviewers are described as professional in our country there is no university/faculty or institution offering education about interviewer training We are aware of that improving the quality of statistical data depends on collecting accurate and reliable information. Therefore,we are as TUİK Antalya Regional Office developing the "Training for Trainers of Interviewers" project to bring a different perspective to the training of our interviewers and in order to take international good training examples as a model by the way Erasmus+ K1 project. Our Organization; TUIK carries educational institutes feature with emphasis on education and innovation structure. In addition to technical training at our institution, we also provide "Team coaching training, Time management, Stress management, Effective presentation techniques, Body language training, Training for Trainers, Deal with difficult people, Telephone communication techniques, Effective presentation techniques, Interview management and techniques, Good interviewer characteristics". The technical staff at our institute carries out this trainings but there is no standart education form for these trainings. So we aim to carry out a standart education structure, at the same time we intend to receive trainers training for these technical staff. Our institute is in the process of performing CATI for “Labor Force Statitics” surveys. We want to observe best trainings / educations examples in place in Europe for CATI such as speech techniques and all topics above-mentioned and to transfer our Institute
With knowledge and experience of partnership to visit by the project, we want to create a standard structure for interviewer training which is collated with our own training programs. This knowledge and experience acquired in the organization of seminars and presentations will be shared with brochures and manuals. Thus covering seven geographic regions of the interviewers educators in 26 offices we want to create a structure with the same resources they provide the same standard of education. We plan to give the interviewer educational participation certificates at the end of the training so that could be created to sustain a high quality of education and learning outcomes.
A group consisting of 15 technical personnel from our centeral office and Antalya regional office to follow good examples/practices of training in Europe are found in 5 to 14 days between study visits to partner countries. After the visits to the partner countries Targeted project aimed at sustaining, training documents will be prepared and with these documents, 26 trainers form regional offices and from our centeral office, the technical staff will be trained face to face and with online training seminars two times for a year .
In brief we are looking for partners that can meet our training request dealing with the issues, program application deadline is February 2016. Until the date of this training will be shared with other countries, the number of participants, the training dates and the amount of the grant will be stipulated should be agreed in detail. The belief that multiply through sharing of knowledge, we hope to welcome your return to this mutually beneficial project. There are some limited conditions are expected by the national agency from the project partner countries for Erasmus +K1 project; these are *Course fee per person,* institutional support,* special needs supports and certificate issuance requirement so The quality of education will be provided to our institution, duration, course fee per person and it should be noted certificates can be granted or not. . In addition, we would appreciate if you could inform us about the departments or units which could provide these trainings to us and their contact information.
