Street based youth work

Training for all youth (street) workers who already have experience in the field street youth work and all others interested in it.

The purpose of the project is to train the participants for successful and competent implementation of youth street work. We will learn everything about street based youth work and we will get to know different successful practices from Slovenia and around the world. It's a great opportunity for youth workers who has just begun working with kids and youth, for students and volunteers who want to know more about street based youth work.
We would like youth workers to return home feeling more confident in working with youth out on the street and bring back home some new ideas and practices that they learned here.

This training will bring together around 30 youth workers from different countries. We expect participants will:
- strenghten the competences of the individual to act in the field of youth street work,
- have an experience of living in an international group,
- learn how to target young people and people with less opportunities,
- exchange tips and tricks for working with young people,
- learn different methods and strategies used for street work,
- learn how to target the needs of young people,
- get some practical knowledge on the field,
- exchange different successful practices, knowledges, skills,
- enjoy in intercultural exchange.
