Stories Without Borders

Stories Without Borders is a youth exchange exploring migration, identity and inclusion through storytelling, arts and intercultural dialogue in Sicily.

Stories Without Borders is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on migration, multicultural identity and social inclusion, hosted in Sicily, a symbolic crossroads of cultures, arrivals and transformations.

The project aims to help young people understand migration beyond stereotypes by exploring what it means to migrate, to grow up between cultures, and to build inclusive communities in Europe. Participants will reflect on identity, belonging, discrimination and human rights through non-formal education methods.

Activities include interactive workshops on migration routes, second generations, fake news and media narratives, empathy and perspective-taking. Creative labs (art, writing, body movement), digital storytelling, role-plays, simulations and mindfulness sessions will offer a safe space for self-expression and dialogue. The programme also includes cultural visits and meetings with local organisations working with migrants and refugees.

The exchange will lead to creative outputs such as videos, artworks and personal stories, shared during a public final event and through online dissemination. The project promotes European values, intercultural dialogue, anti-discrimination and youth empowerment.

We are looking for partner organisations motivated to involve young people in meaningful intercultural learning, actively contribute to the programme and support dissemination at local and European level.
