Dance is an universal form of art expression with an high emotional and communication impact: you don’t need to speak the same language to dance with the same steps. Dance is a non-verbal form of communication that helps to reduce cultural gaps and shyness.
Traditional dance is able to show his strength through the viscerality, the sociality and the music of his owne community.
The participants will discover their owne popular standing-tradition with the desire to share it with other country’s participants. Before the days of activity together, each group will prepare a small study on a traditional dance to share it with the other groups, the participants will study the origins and the traditional moments (parties, anniversaries ...) of the dance, and all the other traditional elements connected with (music, songs, flavors and aromas). During the project the groups will share the foundamental elements of their owne typical dance.
When they have learned each other's dances, by integrating them togheter they will create a fusion of popular dances that underscores the essence and the beauty of every single dance.
