STEP (STEM To Environmental Problems)

STEM can help us make a STEP towards better future

It is expected that STEM oriented professionals will be highly desirable in the coming years therefore we find it really important to raise students awareness of STEM sciences and encourage them to pursue STEM careers.
The goal of the project STEP (STEM to environmental problems) is to increase the awareness of STEM importance, to show the society that STEM is an important and exciting area linked to our future, as well as to prove that we heavily depend on STEM to improve our lives with innovations in science, technology and engineering. The main activities of the project will be related to the application of STEM based knowledge into practical work, namely in solutions of environmental problems of each partner country.

During our project, participants (age 15-19) will recognize the environmental problems in close area, then they will describe the particular problem and then they will work on how they can solve that problem by using STEM approach. Besides, they will cooperate with different countries, they will also have experiences in different working culture.
