Fundacja Kopalnia Inicjatyw is pleased to invite you to take part in the youth exchange “Step in to democracy” to be submitted under the ERASMUS+ Mobility project for youth workers.

The projects themes: active participation of youth, seminar, active citizenship
Venue: Zakopane (Tatras mountains)

Date: July 2015

Duration: 7 days (including travel days)

Short description:
Main aim of this seminar is to promote European values in a youth work.The participants will have a chance to exchange their experiences in a field of youth participation and active citizenship. We will focuse on a new methodes in learning. Especially we will try to questioned ourselves how to use a new media to involve youth in policy making processes. There will be a space for sharing new ideas and to promote your activities. There will be also meetings of experts and study visit to public institutions. Raising the qualifications of youth workers will create conditions to improve the level of key competences and skills of young people; formation of active citizenship; social inclusion, inclusion and Welfare of the groups of young people with disadvantaged backgrounds. Objectives are fully in line with the program "Erasmus +" and the objectives of key activity in youth. We will use our time to:
-to share and discuss good practices and challenges
-to take the responsibility for fostering youth
-to build competences in designing, implementing and evaluation of non-formal education activity
-to understand principles of group learning through facilitation and debriefing

Target groups: youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, facilitators, volunteers. 3 participants per country. No age limits

Eligible countries: organisations established in a Programme Country (EU)

- THE MANDATE to be signed by the legal representative of the organization (including stamp) and scanned. Please take care to put out all revisions and yellow highlights before scanning the mandate.

Travel costs:
For grant support to travel costs in the Erasmus+ Programme, travel distances are calculated using the official distance calculator:
