START-UP ORBIT: Transnational Mentorship and Innovation Journey

Empowering young entrepreneurs (18-30) via cross-border incubation: from business model canvas and Ideathon to 6-month expert mentorship and networking.

The project is designed for young individuals aged 18-30 who either possess a specific startup idea or wish to develop an entrepreneurial mindset through structured guidance. This initiative functions as a transnational incubation program, enabling participants to engage with two distinct technology hubs to acquire professional training, on-site experience, and sustained mentorship.

The first operational phase occurs at a national technology and entrepreneurship center. During this stage, participants undergo intensive training covering Entrepreneurship 101, problem validation, the business model canvas, value proposition design, and product-market fit. Simultaneously, individual mentor sessions are organized to technically strengthen each participant's project concept from the early stages. Startup visits within the hub facilitate direct knowledge transfer from experienced founders, allowing participants to observe real-world market operations and sectoral trends firsthand.

The second stage moves to a partner institution abroad, focusing on the transnational exchange of best practices and diverse institutional workflows. This phase is dedicated to advanced entrepreneurship pillars, specifically financial modeling and investor pitch preparation. A key component of this stage is the Ideathon, where teams collaborate to refine their business models and simulate high-level investor presentations. By engaging with tech ecosystems in two different countries, participants gain a comprehensive view of global innovation cultures and international market requirements without the limitations of a single-country perspective.

Post-Ideathon, the project enters a critical 6-month mentorship period. Expert mentors are assigned to each team to guide the technical development and commercialization strategy of their business ideas. The partnership institutions coordinate to provide necessary support and monitor the progress of the developed actions. The project's ultimate success is defined by teams submitting at least one formal application to an established national or international entrepreneurship program. This comprehensive roadmap aims to foster a strong entrepreneurial spirit, equip youth with professional skills, and successfully integrate them into the global innovation network.
