START HUB MEETS EUROPE

The project STARTHUB MEETS EUROPE was born in Pescara in the context of the project winner of a national competition aimed at realizing interventions related to social innovation and the final creation of the first public Coworking in the city of Pescara. The project, in which Movimentazioni is a partner, has actively involved 25 young people aged 18 to 35 years in the role of Peer Educator.
STARTHUB MEETS EUROPE will run from September 2016 to June 2017 and the specific objective is to achieve an increased quality of knowledge and skills from the participants in order to create a network of contacts between Coworkings from various European Countries. They will be able to dialogue and exchange values and know-how, also carrying on possible collaborations on future projects.
Movimentazioni proposes as lead partner of the project. The European Coworkings identified as partners will carry an experiential and cultural knowledge with respect to European values of cooperation and sharing economy 10 people for each country will be invited to participate in activities.
The activities include the organization of a meeting between partners in March 2017 in the city of Pescara to make seminars, workshops and a final public event.
The project plans to develop and carry out an informal method of communication between partners, focusing on digital channels and elaborating innovative methods of communication in order to simplify and make the offer as participatory as possible.
The project results are an increased competence of the youth workers of the countries, even in language practice level and informal communication. Another result is an increased quality and attractiveness of international Coworkings and involved Associations . By the end of the activities the project expects to activate an international network of Coworkings with the involvement of Research Organizations and Universities, start-up and spin-offs in order to stimulate and increase synergies and cooperation and enable models of sharing economy replicable in other local, national and European contexts.
