Exploring Women’s Realities and Migration through Performing Arts
Location: Casa de Colonia Mogent, Llinars del Vallès, Catalunya, Spain
Exchange Duration: 6 days + 2 travel days
Project period: June 2026 – December 2026
Stages of Inclusion (SOI) is a youth exchange addressing gender inequality and the barriers faced by women, particularly migrant women, in social, cultural, and professional participation.
The project provides a safe, intercultural, and participatory space where young people can critically reflect on these realities and use the performing arts as a tool for learning, dialogue, and empowerment. Through creative processes based on body, movement, and artistic expression, participants will explore migration, diversity, and inclusion.
Objectives:
- Promote gender equality and social inclusion among youth.
- Strengthen participants’ capacity for expression, active participation, and leadership.
- Foster intercultural dialogue and critical understanding of social inequalities.
- Generate online artistic and educational resources for replication by other youth and organizations.
Expected Outcomes:
- Development of key competences: communication, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Empowerment of young women and migrant participants to share experiences and engage actively in their communities.
- Production of online resources for wider dissemination.
- Strengthened capacities of participating organizations in youth empowerment, inclusion, and gender equality.
- Enhanced visibility and recognition of participating organizations at a European level.
We are seeking youth organizations from European countries with experience in:
- Gender equality, inclusion, and work with young women and migrants.
- Non-formal education and creative or performing arts methodologies.
- Youth exchanges or other Erasmus+ KA1 projects.
Requirements for partner organizations:
- Send a group of 6 participants aged 18–25.
- Support travel arrangements to Catalunya, Spain.
- Commit to full participation in all project phases: preparation, exchange, follow-up, and dissemination.
Preference will be given to organizations from countries without visa requirements for Spain to facilitate mobility.
