Stage the Truth – Theatre-Based Tools for Critical Thinking in Youth Work

International training for youth workers using applied theatre methods to develop critical thinking through real-life situations, dialogue and reflection.

The project proposes an international training course for youth workers focused on using applied theatre methods (forum theatre, newspaper theatre, role-play) as tools for developing critical thinking among young people. Participants will explore how to transform real-life situations from their communities—such as conflicts, polarizing discourses, manipulation, and stereotypes—into educational scenes that stimulate reflection, dialogue, and critical analysis. The training emphasizes non-formal, participatory methods that can be easily adapted to diverse local contexts.
