KA1 - YE titled: “Spring traditions across Europe”
Participants: 6 countries, 30 participants (4 + 1), aged 18-25 years,
50% of young people with less opportunities : one participant from rural area, one participant people with disabilities , accompanied by PA
Duration 10 days, (24 feb-5 march 2017) Constanta, Romania
The theme : the need for understanding the concept of tradition as the sum of cultural, historical, folkloric, human values, continuity, beliefs, ideals, essence and treasure, uniqueness and diversity
Objectives are to increase :
- the awareness, understanding and learning of the concept of tradition as a manifestation of national identity
- the creativity of young people, the spirit of initiative, appealing to non-formal education methods
- the intercultural dialogue by involving young people in sharing myths, legends, ballads, proverbs, riddles, habits and customs
- the understanding of the European Union motto: "United in diversity",
- the involvement of youth with fewer opportunities, persons with special needs, people with disabilities, building positive examples for other young people in similar situations, and for community
