Sport it Up, Eat it Up!

Training how to tackle the problem of obesity and low physical activity among youth and motivate them towards healthy lifestyle, how to eat and cook helthier...

There will be various workshops and activities during the training – e. g. nutrition works- hophow to cook healthy, how to buy healthier meals, about education through sport….

Also each day practical SPORT SESSIONS: aiming to enhance further their knowledge of participants and to provide them with skills in various sports so they can use their knowledge and skills to enhance their health as well as health and lives of people in their local community – various easy and interactive physical activities prepared by trainers.

COOKING HEALTHY FOOD TOGETHER – participants will be asked to propose meal and cook together. Afterwards, this will be starting point for discussion - if this was nutritional and healthy food
In addition, participants will develop non-formal education methods and workshops - that can be implemented together with young people who are not much physically active or who face problems of obesity

Participant will also implement LOCAL WORKSHOP with youngsters in Slovakia

Final outputs of the project besides gained knowledge and skills of participants will
1. HANDBOOK / toolkit / for youth workers, PE educators etc. with methods, ideas, advices how to organize such an activities with youth in their local environment
2. VIDEO RECIPES and short work-outs

Training will be for youth workers, teachers, PE educators and youth leaders who will be able to follow-up / use gained knowledge in their daily youth work or during other projects as youth exchanges, camps etc.
