Sport as a path to active citizenship

Dear friends,

EuroDEMOS Association proposes to see ADDED VALUE OF SPORT.

We are looking for partners for the seminar “Sport as a path to active citizenship”. The project approaches the themes of sport, volunteering and active citizenship.

EuroDEMOS is a Civic Attitudes Association, specialized in the last 22 years of voluntary activity in forming opinion leaders by developing civic programmes at mass level and on target groups, of defending human rights, democratic values, European and sustainable development principles.

The European seminar “Sport as a path to active citizenship” will be held in Iasi, Romania, on 05-16 March 2013.

The program of the seminar will be based on non-formal methods and will contain for example:
- sport activities (mass sports, football match, cross, etc.),
- intercultural evening,
- work-shops on importance of a positive attitude for sport,
- study visit and
- visit to the important monuments of the city and around the town.

At the project will come as guests decision-makers and multi-qualified specialists. Will be also a day dedicated to the European documents as WHITE PAPER OF SPORT.

The project will offer to the participants the opportunity to explore the advantage of sport to promote volunteering, active citizenship and human values.

TRAVEL, BOARD AND LODGING
Travel:
The travel cost will be repaid up to 70% of the travel costs. Only the participants who attend the entire seminar can be reimbursed.
Accommodation:
Board and lodging will be provided and paid by EuroDEMOS.
