Training : Sport as a tool for youth work that aims to train youth workers to use sport as an element of integration, promotion of health develop sports games
Objectives:
• To train youth workers in the use of sport as a tool for integration and health promotion
• Learn different sports games in a playful way and knowing adapt to diverse groups
How?
The main idea is to give an overview of what can embrace the concept of healthy sport in the field of non-formal education focusing on three aspects:
• integration Sport
• Sport-health
• Sport-Game
• The intercultural character of the sport
These contents will be developed in sessions that have the following structure:
• Exhibition and presentation of the subject
• Review Panel
• Work in groups in which they discuss specific aspects of the subject.
• Practical application through the development of sports games
The sport is completed through sharing personal experiences and visits to local,
THE course ends with a practice session open to young people who wish to participate in it in which Jan l course participants will implement what they have learned
Where and when.
The project will take place in Albacete, Spain in April 2014. It will bring together 30 people from different countries working with youth, especially with integration problems
