Sport and Disabilities

-to promote Sport as an instrument of integration for people with disabilities -to support the exchange of good pratices

Sports practice produces a state of general satisfaction, promotes discipline and training that, as a result, lead to the containment of emotional states by increasing the capacity for self-control, so as to have the opportunity to increase their autonomy.

The disabled individual, therefore, will first know himself, his body, then he will experience the motor skills of others, learning to observe it, interpret it and recognize its expressive value.

Sport reverses the situation in which the disabled person finds himself, in fact he finds himself increasing his activities, expanding his own volume of action and broadening his physical horizons. Training is the key to success and for its planning, the relationship between the coach and the athlete plays a decisive role.
