Spark Creativity with Steam!

"Spark Creativity with STEAM" is a KA210-SCH project. Its main aim is bringing STEAM to life in secondary school education.The difference between STEAM and the traditional science -math education is the blended learning environment and showing students how the scientific method can be applied to everyday life. It teaches students computational thinking and focuses on the real world applications of problem solving.

Our target group is educators working at secondary school education level ,mainly science ,maths and art teachers. The project aims to exchange good practices with teachers from different EU countries by using innovative teaching tools and support teachers on their STEAM Journey.

Within this project, there will be 4 mobilities that enable teachers deepen their knowledge in STEAM education that can create an interest and lifelong love of the arts and sciences in children from an early age and integrate interdisciplinary approach to their teaching. While integrarting STEAM into education,the teachers will use Lego SPIKE Education sets.

In this project, the teachers role is not just giving the whole STEAM education,they will encourage their students to pursue STEAM activities with Lego Spike Sets, so they will increase awareness and interest at school with extracurricular activities.The students will not only learn how to build legos,they will have have a deeper understanding about Coding by using their creativity,analytical thinking skills and problem solving strategies with Art.

The possible partners should bear in mind that they have to buy Lego SPIKE PRIME Sets or have to conduct the project activities successfully.We prefer working with Secondary Schools that want to learn and discover Lego Education with us,not vocational ones because they have knowledge about the topic already.If you do not have any experiences but really want to learn,every eligible school is welcomed.
