Teaching adult educators towards energy self-sufficient housing
We are living in the time of increasing costs of energies, increasing use of devices with high demand for energy and increasing carbon footprint with devastating effects on our environment. Housing is part of all these issues. At the same time with nowadays technologies it is often possible to cut down our use of energies in our homes and even bring it to the level of absolute independence with great economic and environmental benefits. What people lack is the knowledge of new technologies and approaches allowing them to fulfill these goals. The project will thus focus on preparing a feasibility and planning tool for so called smart housing that is both sustainable, economical and as self-sufficient as possible. It is expected to last for about 30 months and to involve 5 to 6 partners.
