The Y-PATH project intends to enhance historical trails and the natural environment and raise awareness among young people.
Italy and Greece, thanks to their rich history, culture and traditions, offer immense potential for the development of slow and sustainable tourism, which promotes a respectful encounter between travelers and local territories. The concept of slow tourism is based on the enhancement of authentic experiences, focusing on the observation and enjoyment of natural and cultural resources through travel modes that are less invasive and more in tune with the surrounding environment. This approach is particularly relevant to young people, who are increasingly interested in traveling consciously and responsibly. The Y-PATH project intends to enhance historical trails and the natural environment and raise awareness among young people of the need for more respectful and conscious tourism.
Main objectives of the project:
- Promote slow and sustainable tourism among young people.
- Promote historical and natural paths.
- Raise awareness among young people about the need for more respectful and conscious tourism.
- Disseminate the stories of the young people involved to raise awareness.
