SKY: OUR COMMON ROOF
Our club Aydem Genclik, inspired by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the students to learn the history of astronomy and to get to know the universe, has set out to increase the interest in science and natural sciences. From each club (country) 5 young person and a leader from the group consisting host of Turkey's Denizli events and workshops will be held in the province (Galileoskop construction, observation of the constellations, drama with mythological stories, visit the observatory, star mapping, sky atlas construction, planetarium show ... by sharing tasks and knowledge will gain the consciousness of astronomy by having fun. Clubs will engage in cultural, artistic activities to promote their culture and create a common language within the 7-day action plan. During the preparation phase, cultural preparations will be made with promotional CDs, brochures and other resources to be obtained from the embassy of the host country. Clubs are asked to prepare items such as brochures, food, textile products, clothing, printed works, ornaments to introduce their country's cultural and social aspects for the stands they will create during the activity. In order to achieve the objective of the project, the students to be selected must have a basic knowledge of astronomy, be socially developed and willing to engage in activities. The activity will take place between 17-24 May 2020. Activities Galileoscope production, observation of constellations, drama with mythological stories, observatory visit, stellar mapping, sky atlas production, planetarium show, games, entertainments will be in the form of… and the preparations will be notified to the countries in advance. After the activity, clubs should spread the awareness of astronomy, transfer them to other club members and share these works with the partners on social platforms.
