Skill up against Unemployment

As Moonstar Counseling from TURKEY , we are planning to apply Erasmus Plus K2 Strategic Partnership on the field of Youth.Upgrading, adapting and widening the skills portfolio of individuals to create and fill the jobs of tomorrow is one of the greatest challenges facing Europe today. During the last decade, education and training systems in Europe have become more relevant and responsive to the needs of society; however, the extraordinary potential of skills development to contribute to sustainable growth is not yet fully harnessed. For this reason, job and subject specific competences learned throughout education and training need to be underpinned by transversal competences in order to both encourage initiative rather than a simple reproduction of received knowledge and to better match learners’ and employers’ needs. With the help of this project, our objectives is to enhance the level of transversal competences - Self-Management& Self Discipline, Collaboration and Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Entrepreneurialism, Technology and Media Literacy, on youth and youth workers who are between 18-30 regarding to their relevance for the labour market. We are looking for long-lasting partners who are experienced in youth work, energetic, easy-to-contact, ready-to-cooperate from a higher education institutions, universities, NGOs and public body.
