Sim games as methods of transferring European values in the work of youth workers

The NGO "Voice of the youth" - Plovdiv will be hosting training for trainers on simulation games. The training is based on a rich and balanced educational program through which youth workers will gain new knowledge and acquire skills in the design and implementation of specialized simulation games, distribute European values of our society among marginalized groups of young people in a gentle and unpretentious way.
The overall objective of this project is to be utilized a methods of simulation games and to enable participants to use them in their work. To achieve this goal there will be showcased variety of different formats of simulation games and there also will be presented an effective leverage for this method. This training will increase and equip the competence of teachers, facilitators and leaders working in the field of non-formal education for social inclusion of young people - immigrants, refugees and asylum seeker.
At the beginning of the training the participants will be involved in various types of simulation games. Once they have learned the methodology of working with them at the end of the training they will be trained to create their own simulation games. They will be able to adapt such simulation games to the current priorities of their work - promotion of European values of tolerance, intercultural and interfaith dialogue, respect for human rights and others.
NGO "Voice of the youth" - Plovdiv seeks an appropriate participants for the project, which can be : NGOs and associations of teachers, facilitators and leaders in the field of informal education and working with refugees and immigrants.

Period: approximately end of July, 12 days
Travel and direct costs should be reimbursed by the Erasmus+ requirements
