Signs in Europe II

A youth exchange in Turin, included 56 participants-deaf young, professionals working with youth that were discussing in 8 spoken, 8 sign languages and english.

The training course happened in Turin in collaboration with Istituto dei Sordi and happened 8 -12.1.2016 where 32 people, professionals and young deaf. This first phase was dedicated to the creating and sharing experiences, competences and methodologies used in training and didactics of LIS for the deaf with the objective to return to the countries and put the new knowledges in the practices, adjusted to their environment. Eufemia has as a result created a theatre project. In April APV happened in Misnk where logistics and program has been discussed.
The last activity was a youth exchange in Turin, including 56 participants-deaf young, professionals working with youth. Languages used were English, spoken maternal ones and the signed ones. We were talking about Europe, citizenship, education, employment and unemployement. The future objectives have been shared and results included in the future activities. We sang with our voices and with our hands, with emotions and expressions of the body and finish the event with one Italian song. We produced one video as well.
