SHIFT

SHIFT - a 8 months EVS project for 8 volunteers that will aim to provide 100 young people with enhanced digital competences that make them more adapt to the current and future realities. The project wants to introduce a SHIFT from the standard education approach of the schools that seems to largely ignore preparing the youth for the opportunities and dangers that the current digital world has created. The project will make us of non-formal methods and games to provide young people with better awareness of the opportunities and dangers the online environment provides targeting specifically those aspects that the current standard curriculum neglects such as how to properly use the internet for education(search engines, free online trainings and courses etc.), how to critically filter and analyse information on the internet(distinguishing fake info, reputable information sources) and how to protect ones privacy. The project EVS mobility is planned to take place in the October 2018 - May 2019 period.
