“SHARE CULTURE – A YOUTH EXCHANGE ON CULINARY TRADITIONS AND HEALTHY LIVING”

“SHARE CULTURE” aims to introduce youth into the culture of food and traditional meals from different countries for intercultural learning and dialogue

“SHARE CULTURE” aims to introduce youth into the culture of food and traditional meals from different European countries, both for intercultural dialogue and intercultural learning purposes, communication and motivation for a healthy lifestyle. The exchange will offer participants the opportunity to experience and explore other cultures and traditions through food and healthy eating. The aim is to stimulate the youngsters reflection and make possible a confrontation with their peers from other cultures on food and different culinary traditions, both from a cultural point of view and that of health, making food itself the main “instrument” that facilitates learning about other cultures and discussing the diversity.

The exchange will gather a group of young people, 18 to 25 years old, from Romania, Italy, Croatia, and two more countries in Bucharest (RO) for a 9-day intercultural youth exchange. The main aim of the project is promoting intercultural dialogue and intercultural awareness through non-formal activities dealing with food, culinary traditions and a healthy nutrition.

We are looking for two more organizations that would take part in this project as sending organizations. Organizations from all countries are welcome, apart from organizations from Italy and Romania (we already have partners there).

In case you are interested into collaboration please fill in the Partner info form attached and e-mail it to: melani.hromin@fondazioneikaros.org

We look forward to hearing from you!
