APYN will organize three Regional European Alcohol Policy Youth Conferences (REAPYC) for young people from 3 European regions - Central, Western and Southern.
The upcoming series Regional European Alcohol Policy Youth Conference (REAPYC) will gather around 30 young people from different countries of the three European regions – Central, Western and Southern.
Trainings aim at building capacity for youth to become better advocates of more comprehensive alcohol policies, youth researchers on alcohol and youth and project leaders on evidence-based alcohol interventions in their countries.
The main conference aims are to:
• Raise interest among young people and youth organisations about prevention of alcohol related harm and alcohol policy
• Empower the participants with the necessary skills and capacities in order to effectively work on the field of alcohol
• Empower the participants with the necessary tools to engage in advocating for more comprehensive alcohol policy regional, national and international level
• Provide the necessary tools and training for participants to be able to conduct projects to reduce the alcohol related harm on youth
• Give participants the opportunity to exchange their expertise and good practises with their peers
The conference is aimed at young people from Central, Southern and Western European region who are interested in the topic of alcohol or are already actively working in the field.
We offer 2 places for the delegates of your organization without participation fee. The project will cover 100% of accommodation, food and local activities’ (including transport) costs. It will also cover international travel costs in line with Erasmus+ Programme Guide rules for the participants.
