Labs activities for learning and developing artistic recycle techniques in a transnational dimension.
Within the global environmental challenges, recycling is one of the most imminent matters society has to face and TresArt contemplates doing this through Sensrecycle project, that plans to organize, promote and manage sustainable and intercultural creative labs.
Sensrecycle is a sustainable art and culture project that highlights existing traditional methods and techniques, developing and experimenting them inside the alternative artistic-creative recycling process and for the reutilization and creation of artistic handmade items made from industrial waste materials.
The objective of the project is the social awareness towards the requirements of the territory: the organic waste disposal by artistic approach, the information spreading, the techniques promotion and the creative incentive.
Its purpose is facing and fighting people's ignorance about environmental impact of consumer items, improving their awareness of environmental protection and prompting sustainable and resolving solutions.
The project's intent is creating a creative net as support tool for urban waste disposal, that would be capable of extending life cycle of recycling products and materials. Specifically, labs activities - as part of no-formal moments like workshops, team building, role playing, creative labs - will urge to identify new functions for objects, otherwise forgotten.
In the creation of working groups, in which interact young people from all over Europe, will be used no-formal learning methods for learning and developing artistic recycling techniques by complete and participatory activities that will involve the citizens as protagonists of the whole initiative.
