SEMINAR Mobility for employability

We are looking for organisations that have the possibility to HOST young people with fewer opportunities to participate in a seminar about "SHORT TERM MOBILITY FOR EMPLOYABILITY".
The seminar will take place in the first 4 months of 2016.

The MOBILIS YOUTH (A document describing MOBILIS is joined) project is founded on two basic facts:
• Young people with fewer opportunities have restricted access to local, national and international mobility,
• This lack of access to mobility constitutes a barrier to their social and professional integration.

The project's objectives: offering young people with limited career prospects and little experience a whole range of actions to help them build up a skill set and get remobilized. They will be offered the chance to:
• Get involved in new experiences and develop their resources,
• Give them the tools to seek and gain employment,
• Become more socially integrated

MOBILIS JEUNESSE will base its actions around the three key areas covered by the Carrefour Association:
• Actions to raise awareness, train and prepare these people for international geographical mobility, enabling them at least to go on a supervised trip abroad,
• A tradition of providing access to projects and workshops, enabling people to uncover, characterize and formalize their non-formal skills which are sought by companies. In other words, to bring out new elements of employability which had not previously been formalized.
• A friendly space, designed to feel like a social café, enabling young people to get involved, mix with others, help each other out and promote expression.

The Carrefour Association considers that only through discussion and exchange with partners and jointly constructed projects can we achieve success. This is why we believe that every part of our project should be open to amendment and modification, enabling us to take full advantage of the experience and expertise of the foreign partners who have tread this path before.
The objectives of the seminars are as follows:
• Sharing experiences and expertise
• Together, working on how to implement:
o Programmes to prepare young people for mobility as part of a trip abroad,
o Programmes to enable young people to meet each other,
o Programmes concerning hosting for young people.
Here, we will also take the opportunity to set out exactly:
• The content and schedules for the periods when the young people will get to meet each other
• Which deliverables the young people will be expected to have: travel journal, etc.
• How the young people will be supervised, especially minors,
• How the young people’s experiences can be promoted and used for mutual benefit
