"Seeds of Development: Uniting Cultures!"

The "Seeds of Development: Uniting Cultures" aims to promote the sharing of experience and knowledge of young volunteers in the hope that this sharing will become a constructive and positive change in communities of Cape Verde
The AMM believes that all volunteers, come from very different contexts, and having access to other contexts, will be able to share their experiences as young citizens and use their capabilities and facilities to interact and engage with local youths , while engaging in activities planned by the Host organization.
We believe that work with volunteers who will do their best to bring new inputs to the new reality and the new environment they will face.
For this, we will provide appropriate training and support to our volunteers, to enable them to be well prepared for the African reality.
The EVS will last for nine months (June 2013 - March 2014), and during that time, volunteers will participate in various activities to raise awareness, awareness and promotion of various topics relevant to improving the quality of life within these communities, in particular:
- To support and develop activities with children from different socio-economic contexts, through the host organization;
-Participate in and awareness campaigns among the population, and medical issues related to prenatal control, STD and health care for children;
- Promote non-formal workshops and roundtables, open to children and young people in communities to promote education as an essential element of the integral development of young people;
- Ensure and participate in the distribution of food or other essentials, the Host organization provides to communities.
