Title: TC " Screen Kids – Green Kids"
Main objective: "The main objective of the project “Screen Kids – Green Kids” is to strengthen the professional skills and competences of 35 youth workers from 7 European countries to effectively work with “screen kids” — children who spend the majority of their free time in front of screens and electronic devices, thereby increasing their risk of social exclusion. The training course will provide opportunities for both educational and professional development of the participants, while also increasing the capacity of the participating organisations to address a growing and unpredictable social phenomenon. By using non-formal learning methods and encouraging the active involvement of youth workers, the mobility will offer innovative solutions to “get young people outside”.
Location: Rural area (mountainous most probably)
Duration: 9 days including the travel days.
Number of participants per country: 5
Age of the participants: over 18

Project overview

Screen kids - green kids is a project by
ETHNO, SOCIAL AND ECO INITIATIVES ( ESEI)
taking place
from 2026-09-13 till 2026-09-19
This project relates to:
Training and Networking
and is focusing on:
  • Environment
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Geographical obstacles
The main direct target group is youth workers (5 per country), who are also the main participants in the mobility. This will include participants whose professional development is related to working with young people of different age groups, different social status, different ethnic origin, different sexual orientation, etc. These will also include participants who work (including voluntarily) in the field of youth work in the participating organizations themselves. The need for knowledge and tools for timely intervention and for promoting alternative, environmentally friendly and social activities for "screen children" is what the project will try to satisfy. The training course aims to support the development of competencies, so that this target group can subsequently apply the acquired competencies in their work with young people, including using innovation in disseminating the project results and promoting good practices.
