Scimpact - Change the world with Science!

Scimpact is a program that helps young people to develop action confidence and become active changemakers.

The energy transition, climate neutrality, and security of supply are pressing challenges, and today’s well-educated youth are ideally positioned to contribute to solving them. However, young voices are often underrepresented in public debates, as they are frequently accused of being disengaged or withdrawn from collective life.

The issue, however, is not a lack of interest, but rather that young people often do not feel sufficiently valued or encouraged to participate actively. Educational institutions provide knowledge, but the crucial step is moving from knowledge to action—empowering young people with the confidence and skills needed to actively contribute to addressing societal challenges.

This is where Scimpact comes in: Scimpact is a support programme for young people who want to shape and change the world through science. It offers a comprehensive introduction to solution-finding, the development of practical methods and competencies, individual coaching, and access to a broad network of like-minded young people.

With Scimpact, we not only teach practical skills, but also support participants in developing their action confidence.
