Say no to violance

With this project we aim to raise awareness towards violence which is increasing day by day in the
partner countries, Turkey and especially in the city of Denizli. We are planning to host you in Denizli-citycentre for a week in July 2021(in the Aegean Region, near İzmir)Turkey where is the cradle of lots of ancient Greek and Roman civilazations. We are planning to visit many historical places and tourist attractions like Pamukkale-Cotton Castle-,Hietapolis,Leodikia,Aphrodisias,Ephesus,Karahayıt-thermal water, and many others to take unbelievable photos and make you experience unforgettable memories. The project activities will search for the reasons that prompt people to violence and try to find alternative solutions to prevent violence. We aim to raise awareness of the participants, provide an opportunity for the participants to develop themselves on violence and promote them to carry out beneficial studies regarding violence.
Wewant the participants to know that they can develop a positive dialogue, cooperate, work together
and break the prejudices. In the activities we will try to show that the diversity in our culture, language
and belief is richness and something we should all respect.
Our project activities include different types of informal and non-formal education methods. Name
learning, ice-breaking and dissemination activities which are participant centred activities will
motivate the participants to be active all the time. Besides these activities multicultural groups,
workshops, indoor and outdoor activities, question-answer sessions, presentations, role-plays etc.
will be take place. During the cultural activities that will take place in the evenings the participants will
have the chance to know other cultures and have some fun.
At the end of our project both the participants and beneficiaries will become self-aware of violence.
This project will be an added value for the city as there has not been a project implemented before on
violence. Our stakeholders will help us disseminate the project results via the e-booklet prepared by
the youth. We will help the participants to be familiar with the concepts of human rights, democracy,
European citizenship, culture and values. The acquisitions and skills gained after the project will help
them to develop themselves socially and personally, be involved in different project and contribute to
the welfare of the community. Our project will contribute to the priorities and objectives of EU Youth
Strategy.
